Its student versus sensei in what should prove a fascinating and lively Exhibition fight on May 12th 2012 @ Total Combat 47, Spennymoor Lesiure Centre.

Both fighters have agreed to meet in the cage to raise money for the charity Mcmillan Nurses Cancer Support.

Heavyweight Buzz returns to the cage after a 3 year absence and is one of the most recognizable faces in UK MMA.  He has had many achievments in his career including being a 7 time Cage Rage Veteran and Total Combat Heavyweight Champion.

Middleweight Thirkell comes from a very good Judo background and with the help of his coach Buzz has transformed into a MMA fighter with  a record of 4 wins 1 loss & is  the current 2 time Semi Pro Total Combat Champion.

It looks to be a Rocky 3 situation with Middleweight Rocky taking on the man mountain Thunder-lips.

(lets just hope no one gets thrown over the cage!)
